Diversifying our Research (11/13 and 11/20), co-led by Blacks in IO, Latinos in IO (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/13880550/; IG latinosinio), and Coffeehouse Member Sevelyn VanRonk, author of My Mommy is an Organizational Psychologist (https://www.mymommyisanorganizationalpsychologist.com/). We know that IO research, much like other social science research, predominantly relies on Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich, Democratic (WEIRD) samples. In this session, moderators/leaders will provide information and facilitate discussion on how we might be able to diversify our research.
