We are thrilled that you are interested in volunteering with our organization. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in our community and help promote diversity and inclusion in the field of I/O Psychology. We accept volunteer applications year-round, with quarterly application reviews and onboarding sessions. When necessary, we may review and assign volunteers outside of the quarterly schedule to ensure committees are consistently staffed and productive. |
At Blacks in I/O, we believe that access, representation, and connection can change lives. That’s why we’re proud to launch our next Mentorship Program cohort, created to uplift and empower the next generation of Black and Brown leaders in I/O psychology. This year-long, virtual program (aligned with the academic calendar) pairs members in guided mentorship relationships, offering structure, resources, and reflection tools to help both mentors and mentees grow. With the experience, wisdom, and networks of our mentors, we are building a community that doesn’t just open doors, it creates new ones. Together, we are equipping future leaders with the confidence, skills, and support they need to shape workplaces and careers for years to come. Learn More |
